My love for music, has always been something that has been the constant in my life. For years, my belief was that I needed to be part of band, and did just that. The true calling however was and is, the songwriting. I have written over 60 songs to date, and still going strong. My songs tend to be about true life stories and ideals. I try to connect with the listener, by writing and singing songs that let them know, they are not alone, in this walk of life. I am very active in the Hometown, Homespun music scene, performing, collaborating and supporting others in their efforts. So much so, that I have also created and operate a podcast, for the local musicians to tell their stories. It's called "In The Way of Music, Ground Level"
The genres I tend to be part of is Country, Blues, Christian and Americana. Most tell me that they hear Waylon Jennings somewhere in there, when I sing. My intentions is to remain true to the songwriting, and performing of original music.
I know that's not necessarily the most popular thing to do, but it's who I am.
